Abstract
The editor-in-chief of the magazine, P.N. Safonenkov, talked with the first lawyer from China, registered in the register of lawyers of foreign countries practicing law in the territory of the Russian Federation, Guangjun Zhou. In Russia, his name is Nikolai. In addition to Chinese, he speaks English and Russian. Nikolai Zhou's legal practice in both China and Russia is close to the sphere of foreign economic activity and customs relations, so the main issues, of course, were questions on the customs topic – about Chinese customs authorities, customs control and customs offenses. We also talked about the peculiarities of the Chinese legal profession and its differences from the Russian one.
