The first issue of the Lawyer of Foreign Economic Activity magazine is devoted to such topical problematic issues of customs regulation as the control of the customs value of goods containing intellectual property objects; the inclusion of transportation costs in the customs value of exported goods; and the protection of intellectual property objects by customs authorities. This is written by: Candidate of Economics V.N. Ionicheva, Candidate of Law D.S. Vlasenko, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor N.M. Kozhukhanov.

The section "Integration Processes" contains an article by S.V. Moser, PhD in Law, on the prospects for creating priority tools for implementing the Single Window mechanism in the EAEU member States.

The results of the study of reconciliation issues in disputes with customs authorities in his article are cited by Candidate of Law, Associate Professor P.N. Safonenkov.

The magazine also features an interview with Guangjun (Nikolay) Zhou, the first lawyer from China registered in the register of lawyers of foreign countries practicing law in the Russian Federation. He told the main editor of the magazine about how he became a student at Lomonosov Moscow State University, answered questions about Chinese customs authorities, customs control and customs offenses in China, the peculiarities of the Chinese legal profession and its differences from the Russian one.

The issue concludes with a review of dissertations and monographs on topics related to customs regulation for 2020 – 2024.
